Golden, made of gold (feminine of hiraṇmaya)

Hiranmayi (हिरण्मयी) is the feminine of Sanskrit hiraṇmaya, "golden", which Monier-Williams explains as a shortened hiraṇya-maya, "made of gold". As a masculine noun the word is an epithet of Brahmā, the golden-wombed creator, and the name of a sage and of one of the nine divisions of the world.
