Sanchita meaning
Sanchita (संचिता) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Gathered, collected, accumulated; full of
Also used to mean: treasure
Sanchita (संचिता) is the feminine of Sanskrit saṃcita, the past participle of saṃ-ci, "to pile up, to gather". Monier-Williams gives piled together, heaped up, gathered, collected or accumulated, and also dense, frequently practised, and furnished with or full of something. In Hindu thought saṃcita karma is the store of past actions, but as a name the word is read in a gentler way, as something gathered and treasured. Name lists give Sanchita as "collected" or "accumulated", and sometimes "treasure", a fair reading of the same sense. The masculine Sanchit is also used. The name is used in Bengal.
