Keziah meaning
Keziah is a Christian girl's name of Hebrew origin.
Cassia (the fragrant spice bark)
Also used to mean: cassia tree, cinnamon
Keziah is the Hebrew Qetsiah. Strong's Concordance (H7103) gives it as the same word as qetsiah, "cassia", and Brown-Driver-Briggs explains the name as "cassia, from fragrance": cassia is a sweet-smelling bark related to cinnamon, named among the fragrances of Psalm 45:8. Keziah is the second of the three daughters born to Job after his sufferings (Job 42:14); with her sisters Jemimah and Keren-happuch she was counted among the fairest women in the land. Christian families in Kerala and Tamil Nadu often spell it Kezia.
