Deborah meaning
Deborah is a Christian girl's name of Hebrew origin.
Bee
Deborah is the Hebrew word for a bee. Strong's Concordance derives it from dabar, explaining that the bee is named for its orderly, systematic movement. The best-known bearer is Deborah the prophetess, the only woman among the judges of Israel, who summoned Barak to battle and whose victory song in Judges 5 is among the oldest passages of the Bible. An earlier Deborah was the nurse of Rebekah. Indian Christian families use the name, and Kerala parents sometimes spell it Debora.
