Kishori meaning
Kishori (किशोरी) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
A maiden, a young girl
Kishori (किशोरी) is the feminine of Sanskrit kiśora, which Monier-Williams gives as a colt, a youth or lad, and also the sun. The feminine kiśorī is a filly or a maiden. In modern Hindi kishor and kishori are the words for a teenage boy and girl. In the Krishna devotion of Vrindavan and Barsana, Radha is lovingly called Kishori or Kishoriji, "the young maiden", which gives the name its warmth. Name lists give "young girl" or "maiden", matching the dictionary.
