Naishadh meaning
Naishadh (नैषध) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
A prince of the Nishadhas, especially King Nala
Naishadh (नैषध) is Sanskrit naiṣadha, "belonging to Nishadha", and above all the prince of the Nishadhas, King Nala. Monier-Williams cites it from the Mahabharata, where the story of Nala and Damayanti is told to the exiled Pandavas, and also as the title of Shriharsha's twelfth-century epic on Nala's adventures, the Naishadhiya Charita. Name lists give "King Nala", matching the dictionary. The name is used mainly in Gujarat. It should not be confused with Nishad, a different word for a musical note.
