Nanaki meaning
Nanaki (ਨਾਨਕੀ) is a Sikh girl's name of Punjabi origin.
A historical name: Bebe Nanaki, Guru Nanak's elder sister
Nanaki (ਨਾਨਕੀ) is a name with deep roots in Sikh history. Bebe Nanaki (1464 to 1518) was the elder sister of Guru Nanak and is remembered as the first to recognise him as a spiritual teacher. Mata Nanaki, wife of Guru Hargobind, was the mother of Guru Tegh Bahadur. The Mahan Kosh lists these women under the name but gives no dictionary meaning for it. Name lists say "sister", and a traditional account links it to nanke, the maternal grandparents' home where Bebe Nanaki was born, but we could not confirm either in a primary source. It is also spelt Nanki.
