Nandana meaning
Nandana (नंदना) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Malayalam and Kannada usage).
A daughter; gladdening; Indra's divine garden
Nandana (നന്ദന) comes from the Sanskrit root nand, "to rejoice". Monier-Williams gives the adjective nandana as rejoicing or gladdening, and the feminine nandanā as a daughter, literally the one who gladdens the family. As a neuter noun nandana means gladness, and Nandana is also the name of Indra's garden in heaven. The masculine form means a son and is a name of Vishnu and of Śiva, as in Nandanandana, "son of Nanda", for Krishna. In Kerala and Karnataka Nandana is used as a girls' name.
