Stuti meaning
Stuti (स्तुति) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Praise, eulogy, hymn of praise; a name of Durgā
Stuti (स्तुति) is the Sanskrit noun stuti, from stu, "to praise". Monier-Williams defines it as "praise, eulogy, panegyric, commendation", a sense found from the Rigveda onward, and lists Stuti as a name of the goddess Durga and also of Vishnu. In Hindi and other Indian languages a stuti is still a hymn or song of praise sung to a deity. Name lists give "praise", "hymn" or "prayer", which matches the dictionary. The name is short and easy to say; Sthuthi is the usual South Indian spelling.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Durga.
