Darshana meaning
Darshana (दर्शना) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Seeing, sight, vision; understanding; a philosophical system
Darshana (દર્શના, दर्शना) is the feminine of Sanskrit darśana, from dṛś, "to see". Monier-Williams gives the noun a long list of senses: seeing and sight, perception and the eyesight, a meeting or audience, discernment and understanding, a dream or vision, and a philosophical view or system, as in the six darśanas of Indian philosophy. In Hindu practice darśan is the sacred seeing of a deity or a holy person. Darshana is used across India, especially in Gujarati, Marathi and Malayali families.
