Sudarshan meaning
Sudarshan (सुदर्शन) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Good-looking, handsome, lovely; the discus (cakra) of Viṣṇu-Kṛṣṇa
Also used to mean: good vision, vishnu's discus
Sudarshan (सुदर्शन) is Sanskrit su-darśana, from su, "good, easy", and darśana, "seeing, sight, appearance". Monier-Williams gives it as easily seen and as good-looking, beautiful, handsome and lovely, citing the Mahabharata and the Ramayana. Above all it is the name of the Sudarśana Cakra, the spinning discus that Vishnu and Krishna carry as their weapon, which the dictionary also explains as the disc of the sun. Name lists give Sudarshan as "good vision", "handsome" or "Vishnu's discus", all matching the dictionary. Sudharshan is a south Indian spelling.
