We haven't confirmed a dictionary meaning for the name itself.
Sukhjinder (ਸੁਖਜਿੰਦਰ) is a traditional Sikh name, used mostly for men and sometimes for women. Its first part, sukh, from Sanskrit sukha, is happiness, comfort and bliss, a word the Guru Granth Sahib uses from its first page. The ending -jinder, which it shares with Harjinder and Manjinder, is not explained in the dictionaries we checked. Some name lists give the whole as "bringer of happiness", but we could not confirm that from a source. The politician Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, a former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab, is a well-known bearer.
