Swayam meaning
Swayam (स्वयम्) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Self, one's self; by one's self, of one's own accord
Also used to mean: by oneself
Swayam (स्वयम्, usually written स्वयं in Hindi) is the Sanskrit word svayam, "self", probably formed from sva, "own". Monier-Williams gives it as self or one's self, and as of or by one's self, spontaneously, voluntarily, of one's own accord, with examples from the Rigveda onwards. It begins many well-known words: svayambhū, "self-existent", a title of Brahma and Shiva; svayaṃvara, a bride's own choice of husband; and svayamprakāśa, "self-luminous". Name lists give Swayam as "self" or "by oneself", matching the dictionary, and families often read it as self-reliance.
