Aravamudhan meaning
Aravamudhan (ஆராவமுதன்) is a Tamil boy's name.
One who is nectar that never satiates; Vishnu at Kumbakonam
Also used to mean: insatiable nectar, Lord Vishnu
Aravamudhan (ஆராவமுதன்) comes from Tamil ārāvamutam, which the Tamil Lexicon defines as ambrosia that never cloys, nectar one can never have enough of. The Lexicon cites the word from the Vaishnava Divya Prabandham and, as ārāvamutu, from the Tiruvacakam. With the masculine ending it becomes a name for God as that endless sweetness. It is above all the name of Vishnu at the Sarangapani temple in Kumbakonam, where tradition says Nathamuni heard the verses that led him to recover the Divya Prabandham. It is a Tamil Vaishnava name; R. Aravamudan, an early ISRO engineer, carried it.
