Arshveer meaning
Arshveer (ਅਰਸ਼ਵੀਰ) is a Sikh boy's name of Punjabi origin.
Arsh (God's throne, the heavens) joined with vīr (brave hero)
Arshveer (ਅਰਸ਼ਵੀਰ) joins arsh with vīr. Arsh is the Arabic ʿarsh: Lane's lexicon gives a roof, the throne of a king and the Throne of God, which some commentators place in the highest heaven, and in the Guru Granth Sahib (Ang 967) it is the heavens from which the divine light came down to earth. Vīr, from Sanskrit vīra, is a brave man or hero, and in Punjabi also a brother. The name therefore reads as "hero of the heavens". A few name lists give "brave sage" instead, taking arsh as a Sanskrit word for the sages. Arshveer is a modern Sikh boys' name, in the same family as Arshdeep and Arshpreet. The full name is not a Mahan Kosh headword, so its meaning is read from its two parts.
