Bhoj meaning

Bhoj (भोज) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, भो, it is a Makar rashi name (Uttara Ashadha nakshatra) in the North Indian table.

Bountiful, liberal; name of several kings, notably Bhoja

Bhoj (भोज) is the Sanskrit bhoja, which in the Rigveda means "bestowing enjoyment, bountiful, liberal". Monier-Williams lists it as the name of King Bhoja-deva and of various other kings. The name is best remembered through Bhoja of the Paramāra dynasty, who ruled Malwa from his capital at Dhar from about 1010 to 1055; Britannica describes Dhar under him as a centre of learning, and a commentary on yoga is attributed to the king himself. A great Śiva temple at Bhojpur is traditionally said to have been built by him, though it probably dates from somewhat later. Name lists give Bhoj as "generous" or name the king. It also appears in compounds such as Bhojraj.
