Ojasvin meaning
Ojasvin (ओजस्विन) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, ओ, it is a Vrishabh rashi name (Rohini nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Vigorous, powerful, strong, energetic
Also used to mean: full of energy, bright
Ojasvin (ओजस्विन) is a Sanskrit adjective built on ojas, the word for bodily strength and vigour. Monier-Williams gives ojasvin the same meaning as ojasvat: vigorous, powerful, strong and energetic, a sense found as far back as the Vedic texts. The Vishnu Purana also uses Ojasvin as the name of a son of Manu Bhautya. Baby-name lists describe it as "full of energy" or "bright", which stays close to the dictionary. The shorter Ojasvi is also given to girls, while Ojasvin keeps the masculine ending.
