Biranchi meaning
Biranchi (विरंचि) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Odia usage).
A name of Brahmā (also applied to Viṣṇu and Śiva)
Biranchi (विरंचि, Odia ବିରଞ୍ଚି) is the Odia form of Sanskrit viriñci, which Monier-Williams gives as a name of Brahmā, the creator, adding that the word is also applied to Vishnu and Shiva. Odia pronounces the Sanskrit v as b, which gives the spelling Biranchi; in other languages the name appears as Viranchi. In Odisha the name carries a second association: Biranchi Narayan is a name under which the sun god is worshipped, at temples such as those at Buguda in Ganjam district and at Palia near Bhadrak. It is a traditional Odia boy's name.
