Brijesh meaning
Brijesh (बृजेश) is a Hindu boy's name of Hindi and Sanskrit origin.
Lord of Braj (the land of Krishna's childhood)
Also used to mean: lord krishna
Brijesh (बृजेश) joins Braj, the land of Krishna's childhood, with Sanskrit īśa, "lord". Monier-Williams gives Sanskrit vraja as a cow-pen or station of herdsmen and as the district around Agra and Mathurā where Kṛṣṇa grew up, and Platts' Hindi dictionary records the everyday forms braj and brij. Baby-name lists give the name as "lord of Braj" or simply Krishna, which follows the parts, though the compound itself is not a dictionary headword. Gujarati families often say Vrajesh, and Brajesh is used in Bihar and Odisha.
