Brijraj meaning
Brijraj (बृजराज) is a Hindu boy's name of Hindi and Sanskrit origin.
King of Braj, a name of Krishna
Also used to mean: king of brij, lord krishna
Brijraj (बृजराज) means "king of Braj". Monier-Williams gives Sanskrit vraja as a station of herdsmen and as the district around Agra and Mathurā where Kṛṣṇa spent his childhood, and rāja as a king, sovereign or chief; Platts records the Hindi forms braj and brij. The name is a title of Krishna as the beloved ruler of the cowherd country, and baby-name lists give it as "king of Brij". The compound itself is not a dictionary headword. It is used by Rajput families of Rajasthan, and Odia families use the form Brajraj.
