Christina meaning
Christina is a Christian girl's name of Greek origin (via Latin).
A Christian, a follower of Christ
Christina is the feminine of Latin Christianus, from Greek Christianos, which Strong's Concordance defines simply as 'a Christian, a follower of Christ'. The word appears only three times in the New Testament; Acts 11:26 records that the disciples were first called Christians at Antioch. Several early martyrs were named Christina, and Christine is its French form. In India it is used by Christian families, and in Kerala it is also spelt Christeena.
