Drishti meaning
Drishti (दृष्टि) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Seeing, sight; the eye, a look; insight, wisdom; a view
Drishti (दृष्टि) is Sanskrit dṛṣṭi, from the root dṛś, "to see". Monier-Williams gives seeing or viewing, including with the mind's eye; the faculty of sight; wisdom or intelligence; regard or consideration; a view, notion or doctrine; and the eye, a look or a glance. Specialised senses include the pupil of the eye, an astrological aspect of the planets and, in Buddhist texts, a mistaken view. Name lists give "vision" or "sight", which match the dictionary. In Hindi drishti is still the everyday word for sight and for a point of view, so the name suggests both clear sight and insight.
