Radhika meaning
Radhika (राधिका) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, रा, it is a Tula rashi name (Chitra nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
An endearing form of Radha, the gopi
Also used to mean: prosperity, success
Radhika (राधिका) is the Sanskrit rādhikā, which Monier-Williams records as a pet form of Rādhā, the cowherd girl beloved of Krishna, citing Jayadeva's Gītagovinda and the Pañcarātra texts. Because the -ikā ending adds affection, the name is often explained as "little Radha" or "dear Radha". Name lists usually give "prosperity" or "success" as well. That sense belongs to rādhā, the word the name is built on, which the dictionary defines as prosperity and success; it is not listed for rādhikā itself. MW also records a masculine rādhika as the name of a king. Radhika is used by Hindu families across India.
