Hemali meaning
Hemali (हेमाली) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Gujarati usage). By its first sound, हे, it is a Kark rashi name (Pushya nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
From heman, "gold"
Also used to mean: golden
Hemali (हेमाली) is built on Sanskrit heman, "gold", which Monier-Williams also uses for golden ornaments and a gold coin. Hema-, the form it takes at the start of a word, appears in many names, among them Hema, Hemangi and Hemlata. The exact form hemālī is not in the dictionaries, and the ending seems to follow the pattern of names such as Rupali and Sonali rather than add a separate sense. Name lists give Hemali as "golden", which follows the root. It is mainly a Gujarati and Marathi name.
