Hridaynath meaning
Hridaynath (हृदयनाथ) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Marathi usage).
Lord of the heart (hṛdaya 'heart' + nātha 'lord')
Also used to mean: beloved
Hridaynath (हृदयनाथ) joins two Sanskrit words: hṛdaya, which Monier-Williams gives as the heart, the seat of feeling, the mind and soul, and also the core or dearest part of anything, and nātha, "protector" or "lord". Together they mean "lord of the heart", the meaning name lists give, and in devotional use it can name the god who dwells in the heart. The compound is not itself in the dictionary. In Maharashtra the name is best known through Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar, the composer and singer and younger brother of Lata Mangeshkar.
