Jayaram meaning
Jayaram (जयराम) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu usage).
Jaya 'victory' with Rāma; a man's name in Sanskrit texts
Also used to mean: victory of Rama, victory to Rama
Jayaram (जयराम) combines jaya, which Monier-Williams gives as "conquest, victory, triumph", with Rāma, the hero of the Ramayana, whose name the same dictionary also explains as "pleasing, charming". Monier-Williams lists Jayarāma as the name of a Sanskrit author and of several other men, so the name is an old one. It reads as "victory of Rama" or "victory to Rama", echoing the devotional chant "Jai Ram". It is used mainly in Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
