Lakshminarayana meaning
Lakshminarayana (लक्ष्मीनारायण) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Kannada and Telugu usage).
Lakṣmī and Nārāyaṇa together; a man's name
Also used to mean: Lord Vishnu with Lakshmi
Lakshminarayana (लक्ष्मीनारायण) names the goddess Lakṣmī and her consort Nārāyaṇa, that is Vishnu, as a single pair. Monier-Williams records lakṣmī-nārāyaṇa in that sense, as an adjective for what belongs to the two of them, and as the name of a prince and several authors. Temples to Lakshmi Narayana are found across India, and the name is used mainly in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Tamil and Malayali families add -an to make Lakshminarayanan, and everyday short forms include Lakshman and Narayan.
