Jujhar meaning
Jujhar (ਜੁਝਾਰ) is a Sikh boy's name of Punjabi origin.
One who fights in battle; a warrior
Jujhar (ਜੁਝਾਰ) is a Punjabi word that the Mahan Kosh defines as one who fights in battle, a warrior. It comes from the verb jūjh, to fight, which appears in the Guru Granth Sahib; on Ang 1105 Kabir describes the hero who has taken the field, for whom the time to fight has come. The name is honoured through Sahibzada Jujhar Singh, the second son of Guru Gobind Singh, who died fighting at the battle of Chamkaur while still in his teens. It is a boys' name.
