Ketul meaning
Ketul (केतुल) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit root origin (Gujarati usage). By its first sound, के, it is a Mithun rashi name (Punarvasu nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
From ketu, 'brightness; a banner, sign; a leader'
Also used to mean: planet ketu
Ketul (केतुल, Gujarati કેતુલ) is a modern Gujarati boys' name built on Sanskrit ketu. Monier-Williams gives ketu a wide range: brightness and rays of light in the Rigveda, then a sign, flag or banner, a chief or leader, and in astronomy Ketu, the descending node counted as one of the nine planets. Name lists give Ketul as "banner" or connect it with the planet Ketu. The -ul ending is a Gujarati naming pattern also seen in Mitul, so the name itself is not a dictionary word; we show the meaning of its root.
