Krishna and Shiva
In the dictionaries
The name isn't in the classical dictionaries we use, so it is most likely a modern name. The meaning above is how families commonly use it.
Krishiv (कृशिव) is a modern Indian boys' name. Most name lists explain it as a blend of the names of two gods, Krishna and Shiva, and give the meaning that way; Monier-Williams records kṛṣṇa as dark and the incarnation of Viṣṇu, and śiva as auspicious, gracious and kind, and the god Śiva. A few lists connect it instead with kṛṣi, "ploughing, agriculture". We could not find Krishiv itself in any dictionary, so the name is best understood as a recent coinage built from those parts.
