Krishang meaning
Krishang (कृशांग) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Thin-bodied, slender; a name of Śiva
Also used to mean: Lord Shiva
Krishang (कृशांग) matches Sanskrit kṛśāṅga, from kṛśa, "lean, slender", and aṅga, "limb, body". Monier-Williams gives it as thin-bodied or spare, and records it in the Mahābhārata as a name of Śiva, the ascetic god. Name lists give "Lord Shiva" or "slender", which match. Some parents instead hear the name as Krishna joined with aṅga, "a part of Krishna"; that reading is modern and not in the dictionaries, and in Hindi it would be written differently, कृष्णांग.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Shiva.
