Krishnendu meaning
Krishnendu (कृष्णेंदु) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Krishna the moon (kṛṣṇa + indu, 'the moon')
Also used to mean: Lord Krishna, moon of Krishna
Krishnendu (कृष्णेंदु) joins Kṛṣṇa, the god Krishna, with indu, which Monier-Williams gives as a drop, especially of the sacred Soma, and the moon. In Sanskrit the two words join as kṛṣṇendu. Read together the name is "Krishna the moon" or "moon-like Krishna", and name lists give "Lord Krishna" or "moon of Krishna". Some lists give "beloved of Krishna", which the parts do not support.
