Kushagra meaning
Kushagra (कुशाग्र) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, कु, it is a Mithun rashi name (Ardra nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
The sharp point of a blade of kuśa grass; sharp, shrewd
Also used to mean: sharp intellect, intelligent
Kushagra (कुशाग्र) is Sanskrit kuśāgra, from kuśa, the sacred grass used in Vedic rituals, and agra, "point, tip". Monier-Williams gives it as the sharp point of a blade of kuśa grass and, from that, as sharp or shrewd, and also records Kuśāgra as a prince, son of Bṛhadratha, in the Purāṇas. The Hindi phrase kuśāgra buddhi, a mind as sharp as a blade of kuśa, keeps the image alive. Name lists give "sharp intellect" or "intelligent", which match.
