Sudhir meaning
Sudhir (सुधीर) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Very wise, considerate; very firm, resolute
Sudhir (सुधीर) is the Sanskrit sudhīra, from su-, "very" or "well", and dhīra. Monier-Williams gives two senses: very considerate or wise, and very firm or resolute, the second from a variant reading in the Pañcatantra. On the same page the dictionary lists the closely related sudhī, meaning good sense or understanding, and as an adjective wise, clever or sensible, used in the Rāmāyaṇa. Indian name lists give Sudhir as "wise" or "resolute", which matches. Sudheer is another spelling.
