Muktesh meaning
Muktesh (मुक्तेश) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Mukta 'liberated' + īśa 'lord': lord of the liberated
Also used to mean: lord of liberation
Muktesh (मुक्तेश) joins mukta, "set free, liberated", especially from worldly existence, with īśa, "lord". The name means "lord of the liberated" or "lord of liberation", which is how name lists give it, and it is usually understood as a name of Shiva. Monier-Williams does not list mukteśa itself, but the fuller Mukteśvara appears as the name of a Shiva liṅga, and there are well-known Mukteshwar temples at Bhubaneswar and in the Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand.
