Omana meaning
Omana (ओमना) is a Hindu girl's name of Malayalam origin. By its first sound, ओ, it is a Vrishabh rashi name (Rohini nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Fondness, tenderness with children; darling; nicety, beauty
Also used to mean: affectionate
Omana (ओमना, Malayalam ഓമന) is a Malayalam word of tenderness. Gundert's dictionary defines ōmana as fondness and tenderness towards children, and as "darling", with a second sense of nicety or beauty; the verb ōmanikka means "to fondle, caress". It appears in the lullaby Omanathinkal Kidavo by Irayimman Thampi, which calls the baby a darling little moon. Omana is a girls' name used mainly in Kerala.
