Shuchi meaning
Shuchi (शुचि) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Shining, bright, radiant; clean, pure, holy; honest, virtuous
Shuchi (शुचि) is the Sanskrit word śuci, from the verb śuc, "to shine, to glow". Monier-Williams gives its senses as shining, glowing, gleaming, radiant and bright; then clear, clean and pure, both literally and morally, holy, unsullied and undefiled; and innocent, honest and virtuous. As a proper name, the Purāṇas make Śuci a daughter of Tāmrā and mother of the water-birds. Name lists give Shuchi as "pure", "bright" or "holy", which is the dictionary meaning. The name is used across North India; Suchi is another spelling.
