Sunaina meaning
Sunaina (सुनैना) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Having beautiful eyes; a fair-eyed woman
Sunaina is the Hindi form of Sanskrit sunayanā (सुनयना), from su-, "beautiful", and nayana, "eye". Monier-Williams gives sunayana as "having beautiful eyes" and sunayanā as "a fair-eyed woman". Hindi turns nayana into naina, so Sunaina (सुनैना) and Sunayana are the same name. In later tellings of the Ramayana, Sunayana is the queen of King Janaka of Videha and the mother of Sita. Name lists give "one with lovely eyes", which matches. Sunayana is the usual South Indian form.
