Suniti meaning
Suniti (सुनीति) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Good conduct, good policy, wisdom; the mother of Dhruva
Also used to mean: well-conducted, righteous
Suniti (सुनीति) joins su-, "good", with nīti, "guidance, conduct, policy". Monier-Williams defines sunīti as "good conduct or behaviour, good policy, wisdom, discretion", a word found from the Rigveda onward. In the Bhagavata Purana Suniti is the gentle, less favoured queen of King Uttanapada and the mother of Dhruva, whom she encourages to seek Vishnu after he is turned away by his stepmother Suruchi. Name lists give "well-conducted" or "righteous", which matches the dictionary.
