Yagnesh meaning
Yagnesh (यज्ञेश) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Lord of sacrifice; a name of Vishnu and of the sun
Also used to mean: leader of the sacred fire
Yagnesh (यज्ञेश) is the Sanskrit yajñeśa, from yajña, "sacrifice, worship, a fire ritual", and īśa, "lord". Monier-Williams gives it as lord of sacrifice, a name of Vishnu in the Bhāgavata Purāṇa and of the sun in the Mārkaṇḍeya Purāṇa. In Vedic thought Vishnu is identified with the sacrifice itself, and he is praised as yajñeśvara and yajñapati, names with the same meaning. The spelling Yagnesh follows the way Gujarati and Marathi speakers pronounce the consonant cluster jñ. Name lists give it as "lord of sacrifice" or "leader of the sacred fire", in line with the dictionary. The Gujarati poet Yagnesh Dave is a well-known bearer.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Vishnu.
