Bhuvan meaning
Bhuvan (भुवन) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
A being, mankind; the world, earth
Bhuvan (ಭುವನ್, भुवन) is Sanskrit bhuvana, from the root bhū, "to be". Monier-Williams gives its oldest sense, from the Rig Veda, as a being or living creature and mankind, and its usual later sense as the world or the earth. The word is familiar from tribhuvana, the three worlds of earth, sky and heaven, and from names of gods such as Bhuvaneśvara and Bhuvaneśvarī, "lord" and "lady of the world". Bhuvan is used as a boys' name across India, particularly in Karnataka and the north. A well-known bearer is the comedian and actor Bhuvan Bam.
