Drishya meaning
Drishya (दृश्या) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Visible; worth seeing, beautiful, pleasing
Also used to mean: vision, sight, beautiful to see
Drishya (दृश्या) is the feminine of Sanskrit dṛśya, from the verb dṛś, "to see". Monier-Williams gives dṛśya as visible and conspicuous, and as worth seeing, beautiful and pleasing; as a noun it means any visible object or the visible world as a whole. In Hindi dṛśya is the everyday word for a scene or view. Name lists give "vision" or "sight", which is close to the root, and some give "beautiful to behold", which matches the dictionary exactly. It is related to the names Drishti and Darshana.
