Deepti meaning
Deepti (दीप्ति) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, दी, it is a Meen rashi name (Purva Bhadrapada nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Brightness, light, splendour, beauty
Deepti (दीप्ति) is Sanskrit dīpti, "brightness, light, splendour, beauty". Monier-Williams traces the word back to the Śatapatha Brāhmaṇa and the law book of Manu, so it is an old and well-established word rather than a modern coinage. The dictionary also lists rarer senses, among them the flash-like flight of an arrow, and records a masculine Dīpti as one of the Viśve Devāḥ, the "all-gods" of Vedic ritual. Baby-name lists give the meaning as light, radiance or brilliance, which matches the dictionary. The name belongs to the same family of light words as Deepak, Deepa and Deepika. In south India it is usually spelt Deepthi, and in the north Deepti or Dipti.
