Hitesh meaning
Hitesh (हितेश) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Lord of welfare, lord of the good (hita + īśa)
Also used to mean: lord of goodness, well-wisher
Hitesh (हितेश) joins two Sanskrit words, hita and īśa, "lord". Monier-Williams gives hita as an adjective meaning beneficial, wholesome, well-disposed and friendly, and as a noun meaning a friend or benefactor, and welfare, benefit or anything good. Together they give "lord of welfare" or "lord of the good", and name lists give Hitesh as "lord of goodness" or "well-wisher", the second taking hita in its friendly sense. Hiteśa is not itself in the dictionaries, so the name is best seen as a modern coinage on the familiar -esh pattern, like Ritesh and Mitesh. Some sites connect it with Vishnu, which we could not confirm.
