Sadashiv meaning
Sadashiv (सदाशिव) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Always kind or auspicious; happy, prosperous; a name of Śiva
Also used to mean: eternal shiva, ever auspicious
Sadashiv (सदाशिव) is Sanskrit sadā, "always", joined to śiva, "auspicious, kind". Monier-Williams gives the adjective as always kind or auspicious, and happy or prosperous, and records Sadāśiva as a name of Śiva in the Bhāgavata Purāṇa and the Rājataraṅgiṇī; the feminine Sadāśivā is a name of Durgā. In Shaiva traditions Sadashiva is revered as a form of Shiva. Some lists render the name as "eternally pure", a loose paraphrase. Sadashivrao Bhau led the Maratha army at the third battle of Panipat in 1761.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Shiva.
