Pravesh meaning
Pravesh (प्रवेश) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Entering, entrance; entrance on the stage; a place of entrance, door
Also used to mean: admission
Pravesh (प्रवेश) is the Sanskrit praveśa, from pra-viś, "to enter". Monier-Williams gives entering and entrance, an actor's entry on the stage, the sun's entry into a sign of the zodiac, and close engagement in a pursuit. Hindi uses the word for any entry or admission, as in gṛha praveś, the house-warming ceremony for a new home. Name lists give "entrance" or "admission", which matches the dictionary. The name is used mainly in North India, where it is also spelled Parvesh.
