Rasesh meaning
Rasesh (रसेश) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Rasa 'essence, delight, love' + īśa 'lord': lord of delight
Also used to mean: lord of joy, lord krishna
Rasesh (रसेश) joins rasa with īśa, "lord". Rasa is one of the richest words in Sanskrit: Monier-Williams gives "sap, juice, essence", "taste, flavour", "love, affection, delight", and the rasa or prevailing mood of a poem or play, such as love or heroism. Rasesh is therefore "lord of delight" or "lord of essence", and name lists give "lord of joy" and link it to Krishna, the god of the rāsa dance and of devotional rasa. Monier-Williams does not list raseśa itself.
