Rasikh meaning
Rasikh (راسخ) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Firm, steadfast, firmly rooted (as in knowledge)
Also used to mean: stable
Rasikh (راسخ) is the Arabic rāsikh, from rasakha, "to be firm and fixed in place". Lane's lexicon gives it as anything firm, steady, steadfast or settled, such as a mountain that does not move, and notes the phrase "he has a firm footing in knowledge". The Quran speaks of al-rāsikhūna fī l-ʿilm, "those firmly rooted in knowledge" (3:7). Name lists give Rasikh as "stable" or "steadfast", matching the dictionary. It is a different name from the Hindi Rasik, "connoisseur", which comes from Sanskrit. It is used by Indian Muslim families.
