Jasvanti meaning
Jasvanti (जसवंती) is a Hindu girl's name of Hindi and Gujarati origin (from Sanskrit yaśasvatī).
Glorious, famous, honourable (feminine)
Also used to mean: brave
Jasvanti (जसवंती, Gujarati જસવંતી) is the feminine of Jasvant and the everyday form of Sanskrit yaśasvatī. Monier-Williams gives yaśasvat as glorious, famous and honourable, and also splendid and excellent, and records Yaśasvatī as a woman's name in the Kathāsaritsāgara. Hindi and Gujarati regularly turn Sanskrit ya- into ja-, which is how yaśas, "fame", became jas, as in the boys' names Jash and Jasvant. The Rekhta dictionary lists jasvantī as bravery and good name. It is a Gujarati women's name, also used as Jasvantiben.
