Jazib meaning
Jazib (جاذب) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin (Urdu and Persian usage).
Drawing, attracting; alluring, attractive
Also used to mean: charming
Jazib (جاذب) is the Arabic participle jādhib, pronounced with a z in Urdu. It comes from jadhaba, which Lane's lexicon defines as drawing, pulling or attracting something. Steingass's Persian dictionary gives jāẕib as something that draws in, like plaster absorbing damp, and as alluring or attractive, and jāzib-e naẓar, "eye-catching", is everyday Urdu. Name lists give "attractive" or "charming", which matches the Persian and Urdu sense. Jazib is used by Muslim families in India and Pakistan.
